Background Information
JC English is a medium-sized tutorial centre that provides both live and online courses to senior students. Thus, interested students can get more information on the website.
Problem
There is too much information on the website, but it makes it a bit messy. Students are difficult to grasp the main and important information.
Goal
Redesign the layout and style of the webpage to make the webpage more in line with the personal style of the tutor and make it easier for students to find the information they need.
Design Process
Establishing an organised hierarchy, classify information in a structured way, and understanding the steps the user would be taking was essential to designing our solution.

Considering our target audience, we wanted to create a look and feel that is energetic and would resonate with teenagers, and creating a visual direction and style guide ensured that we were aligned and consistent across our designs.
Home Page
The updated style focuses on presenting information in an interesting and clear way by adjusting the colour, shape and space, so users can quickly understand important details such as classroom mode, course features, and tutor’s teaching style.
Course Information
Use guide lines to show the features of the course, let users clearly understand what they can learn after the course, and encourage them to purchase it.
Tutor Introduction
Use graphs and pie charts instead of text to show students' past achievements, making the data more eye-catching and easier to understand.
